We are excited to announce that we have joined East Cheshire Hospice’s exciting & exclusive corporate giving scheme, the 500 Club.

Why?

At Fabric IT, we are continually aiming to do more and be better. As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy, we aim to get more involved in our local community and make a difference.

East Cheshire Hospice is a stand out facility that has touched the lives of so many in our area. We are proud to announce our pledge and look forward to working with the charity.

What is the 500 Club?

As a member of the 500 Club, local businesses are asked to raise £500 per year for three years. This regular commitment will help the Hospice to plan services and secure the future of hospice care in your community.

How are we raising the money?

There are endless ways that the money can be raised, from coffee mornings to sponsored activities. We have started planning the Yorkshire Three Peaks sponsored walk which we aim to do in June this year. The Yorkshire Three Peaks route is a 24-mile walk which takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, in under 12 hours. We are getting a team together to take on the challenge and raise some money for such an important cause.

How will the money make a difference?

£500

Covers a night’s stay for a patient in the In-Patient Unit. Patients and their families can expect a warm and friendly welcome from the specialist team whose top priority is the patients’ comfort and dignity.

£1,000

Pays for a day’s patient catering, laundry and housekeeping services, which meets the patients individual needs and provides a home-from-home environment.

£2,500

Allows the Sunflower Wellbeing Centre to run a range of specialist groups and sessions offering expert advice and guidance for patients living with their illness at home. These include Living Well, Breathlessness Management and Dementia Wellbeing.

£5,000

Covers a week’s in-patient care. This is provided by the multi-disciplinary team of nurses, doctors, therapists and social workers.

£7,500

Pays for a days care for every patient at East Cheshire Hospice. In a place where every moment counts, donating the cost of 24 hours of care is a gift that will touch the lives of many.

We look forward to the year ahead – raising money for such an important local charity.
