Why Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Talent, Fabric
Microsoft Dynamics 365 can transform your business. It powers the applications that drive process, accountability and performance improvements.
New, Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Talent, introduces a number of new features and capabilities to; attract and onboard new staff; improve employee engagement; deliver training and development; and optimise your business.
These new features offer the below five key benefits to your business:
Attract
Attract transforms the process of searching for new employees from the initial candidate pipeline development to providing analytics data to improve hiring decisions.
Users can search LinkedIn and external job boards for suitable candidates from within the app interface.
Your team can get a 360° view of candidates, with information from their LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook profiles, personalised aptitude tests, application history, and professional connections coming together to give decision-makers a complete representation of the applicant.
Integration with LinkedIn InMail and Microsoft Outlook allows the candidate to provide their availability and generates suggested interview times based on the schedules of the selected interviewers.
Once the interview is over, interviewers get another chance to submit feedback, accept or reject the application, and issue offers.
Onboard
Onboard allows hiring managers to build personalised onboarding guides, trackable workflows and to-do lists mapped out by day, ensuring your new team member knows exactly what they’re doing from day one.
Once a new employee joins the company, these customised onboarding plans ensure that expectations are clearly communicated and that new hires make the right connections inside the company to support their success. By laying out goals and training resources from day one, you establish a culture of learning and efficiency, helping new employees to feel valued and productive.
To help them settle in, the app also identifies which co-workers your new starter needs to connect with and helps them become acquainted with their team and their individual responsibilities. It also uses data from LinkedIn to suggest colleagues they might already know.
Engage
Engage helps companies to make a long-term commitment to employee engagement which is proven to maximise productivity and minimise staff turnover.
Employers can roll out self-service portals through the app, enabling and empowering employees to manage their own profile, tasks, training activities, and appraisals. They can also use portals to carry out administrative tasks, such as processing leave requests.
Utilising self-service functions can not only cut down the workload for your HR department but boost employee satisfaction by giving staff the tools to manage their own development, and autotomise certain operational processes.
Learn
Learn contains a fully integrated Learning Management System, so employers can build and deliver training and development courses to help onboard and upskill their teams.
The app helps create transparency by providing templates for defining organisational structures such as departments, positions and roles. It allows managers to better guide and support their employees’ professional development, by offering a channel for continuous feedback, performance tracking rewards, and clear pathways to progression.
Optimise
Optimise using organisational insights provided from a single interface to track Dynamics 365 operational performance and usage. The new version allows managers to describe user behaviour and adoption, along with real-time data and insights. That data provides a strong foundation to build strategies and initiatives to improve adoption and transform organisational culture.
As part of this release, Microsoft also released updated versions of the specific content packs for Dynamics 365. These cover employee engagement, sales and social engagement. These content packs allow for quick insights with little investment.
Virtual entities now allow the Dynamics 365 application to access external data in real-time on runtime. This enhancement drives down the cost of ownership (through reduced storage requirements) and enables other applications to leverage the business and workflow process capabilities of the application.
